I created this website for my St. Mary's Project in which I implement a publicity campaign for the Campus Community Farm, and argue for gardening as a spiritual ritual practice. This website contains all the elements of my SMP: pictures of my publicity, animated commercials, my personal testaments about the spirituality of gardening, and my academic portion that can be accessed at this link. By creating this website, I hope to draw people to consider the garden as a place of spiritual healing, caring, interconnectivity and overall well-being.The garden can be a place of relaxation and meaning if one chooses to look at the garden that way. I encourage anyone who wants to learn how to garden, spiritually or just in general, to come to the Campus Community Farm to learn from me and the other farm managers at 4 pm on weekdays and 1 pm on weekends. I hope to see you soon!
I want to thank everyone who helped me through this project, and those who brought me to the Campus Community Farm in the first place. Thank you to Kate Chandler and Teri Koster for introducing me to the farm. Thank you to my advisor, Professor Katharina Von Kellenbach for guiding me through this feat, to Professor Billy Friebele for giving me the digital skills to create this website. Thank you to Sam DiDonato and Peter Robertson for aiding me in the creation of the commercials. Thank you to my Religious Studies SMP friends and to my housemates for the support and editing!
